I am working on my PhD in Computer Science at the University of North Texas, working with Ian Parberry on Procedural Content Generation for computer games. I obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.

I've worked in the technology industry for 25 years prior to entering the graduate program at UNT. I worked on commercial and military flight simulators for the aerospace industry, was part of the base kernel group which developed AIX V2 for the IBM RS6000 family of workstations, I was a member of the TCP/IP group at IBM which supported mainframe computers running the VM and MVS operating systems. I performed commercial artificial intelligence research for the medical industry. I developed device drivers for National Semiconductor, and also worked at Pillar Data Systems on the Axiom storage system.

In general, my work experience has been mainly in the area of systems programming, but my research interests have been in the field of artificial intelligence.
